ATTICO® storey at Hungerbergstrasse in Zürich

In Zurich-Albisrieden, we were able to add four modern penthouse apartments to two apartment buildings for a private client.

The extension not only created additional living space, but also a future-oriented upgrade of the entire property:

• A new geothermal probe heat pump was installed as an efficient heating system to optimize the building's energy efficiency for the coming decades.
• In addition, a photovoltaic system on the flat roof provides sustainable electricity that is used directly in the property.

These measures show how existing properties can be made fit for the future through intelligent redensification and modern technology - without any additional land consumption.
