Exhibition building for Chengdu Sichuan Agricultural Expo in China

Häring has achieved a sensational success for the structural design of the Agricultural Exhibition buildings in Chengdu, China. The building complex consists of five huge arched halls with a total floor area of 75,000 m2, with free spans of well over 115 m and supporting structure heights of over 40 m. In addition to the engineering, large parts of the supporting structure are also being delivered to China from Switzerland.

Häring Switzerland and its long-standing partner in China were chosen over a Chinese-Canadian consortium for the two largest hall support structures.
