Extra ATTICO® storey in Kronenbergstrasse Thalwil

We built this ATTICO® storey in Kronenbergstrasse in Thalwil in a panoramic location near Lake Zurich. An additional storey was added to the flat roof of the existing building. This created four additional 2 1/2 room flats, each with around 60 m2 of living space, without requiring any building land. All four flats have two spacious terraces, one of which has a magnificent view of the lake. Due to the modular timber construction, a high degree of prefabrication was possible in the factory, which meant that the pure construction time on site could be kept relatively short. This was an important criterion as the conversion took place with the existing flats fully occupied. The required wall and ceiling elements were prefabricated by us in Eiken and then erected and assembled on site. At the same time as the extension, we carried out an external renovation of the entire property. The building was given a new facade with additional insulation, new blinds, a new letterbox system and six additional parking spaces.
