Preserve Life – Lodge: Modular Timber Construction at Scale

As part of the Preserve Life development, Häring Timber Technology is responsible for the timber engineering, production supervision, and installation monitoring of the Lodge project. The project commenced with the design, production, and delivery of a full-scale 1:1 prototype unit, establishing the technical benchmark for serial production and on-site assembly.

The development comprises 52 modular units manufactured from approximately 1,500 m³ of PEFC-certified glulam and cross-laminated timber (CLT). Leveraging advanced digital modelling, industrial prefabrication, and optimized construction processes, the project achieves high standards of quality, efficiency, and execution reliability.

From detailed timber engineering and production coordination to assembly supervision, Häring Timber Technology provides technical oversight throughout all project phases. The Lodge project demonstrates how sustainable timber materials, modern engineering, and off-site manufacturing can be combined to deliver a durable, resource-efficient, and scalable construction solution.
