Wave-shaped facade elements for the Werd double kindergarten in Adilswil
We are currently producing the 148 white fir facade elements required for the new Werd double kindergarten in Adliswil. The battening in an eye-catching 3-D look is being milled in waves on the CNC machine. The facade has a total area of 220 m2. The first finished facade elements have already been installed. Next week, the final assembly of the electrical, sanitary, heating and ventilation systems will start, as well as the interior fittings (built-in cupboards, tables, cloakroom, round fixed glazing).
On the morning of 1 February, the kindergarten children are allowed to visit their future kindergarten for the first time, together with their teachers and the project manager of the city of Adliswil. Due to the good progress of the construction work, the handover of the keys will probably take place at the beginning of April. Classes will begin in the new rooms after the summer holidays, just in time for the start of the new school year.
The kindergarten is being built by us as a general contractor using a wooden element construction method. It contains two classrooms with one group room each, a teachers' room, a spacious cloakroom, a technical room and a toilet. In total, we are installing 1550 m2 of three-layer boards in the building, 840 m2 of which are in visible quality on the walls and ceilings. A special feature are the round windows with a diameter of 1.70 metres, each located between the classroom and the group room.
