An additional floor was added to an office building in Muttenz. The existing large terrace was also enclosed with prefabricated timber modules. The flat roof made from fully insulated box-beam modules bonded together maximised the room height. The façade cladding was adapted to match the existing eternit cladding. The new floor features a seamless transition from the existing building, making it hard to tell it’s an extension.
