The “Scouting against the odds” organisation (“Pfadi trotz allem” – PTA) was founded to offer disabled children and young people a chance to experience nature, play and companionship. AMZ Architekten designed this hut to be straightforward, functional and robust, as reflected in its exterior cladding of pre-greyed spruce formwork. The natural-effect, multilayer wooden boards inside contrast well with the bright yellow plastic flooring. Generous window fronts allow plenty of daylight to flood in. These are covered by large sliding doors when the building is not in use. Häring supplied the entire shell of the building.
