Häring built a cutting-edge extension in Pfeffingen (Basel-Country) to provide extra living space, using its modular system that meets the Swiss Minergie standard. The 110 m2 space is flooded with natural light thanks to a large window front on one side and lift-and-slide elements on the other. Häring was responsible for constructing the façade and fitting the fixed glazing, lift-and-slide doors and entrance doors. Vertically aligned, pre-greyed wooden formwork was used to clad the outside of the building. The high proportion of prefabrication meant the building was constructed in next to no time and could quickly be put to use.
