New building boathouse "Fuchsloch" in Kaiseraugst

A new house for the boats of the rowing club: After the 80-year-old boathouse was rebuilt, a new, modernly equipped house with a floor area of approx. 650 m² was built under the direction of Häring AG, which offers not only space for the boats but also cloakrooms and sanitary facilities for the members. During the excavation, a Roman amphitheatre was discovered and the building project was adapted in consultation with the responsible authorities so that the amphitheatre of Kaiseraugst remains in the ground. Through backfilling, the monument remains in its original place and is optimally protected.
