In Stampfenbachstrasse in Zurich, not far from the ETH, a 5-storey wooden building was constructed as a unitised structure, which attracts attention with its unusual floor plans and design. Visible CLT panels and ceilings, along with sliding interior walls, give the flats a purist character and enable individual living in a small space. A major challenge was the extremely tight space conditions between the rows of houses in the urban area. This required highly concentrated work when unloading and assembling the prefabricated elements.
