Three apartment buildings, Route Mon-Repos in Fribourg

Häring AG teamed up with arcad architectes sa to develop and build three identical apartment buildings, each comprising three apartments, in a neighbourhood of detached houses in Fribourg. The buildings were constructed using a deluxe version of our modular timber construction system. The windows together with the vertical, pre-greyed spruce-cladding façades and slat curtains were already attached in our factory. Inside, each ceiling features an exposed spruce panel and the walls are finished in white plaster. The first step was to build the core structures of the buildings using local concrete, after which, the protruding balconies were attached. The apartments were all fitted with air vents to ensure constant beneficial airflow. The extensively green roof and solar panels were already standard features at this stage.
